A fourth-generation Christian, Pastor Jacob founded an evangelical house church at his home in late 1999 and served as pastor of the church from late 1999 to mid-2012.  At the end of 2012, he became a member of the Jewelry and Jade Quality Professional Committee of the Yunnan Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau and the executive vice president of the Yunnan Provincial Jewelry and Jade Culture Promotion Association.

• In 2013, God moved him to put down his business and embark on the path of full-time service.
• Graduated from Faith Bible Seminary in New York with a Master of Divinity degree in June 2017
• From October 2013 to April 2016, he participated in serving at the Boon Church of Oversea Chinese Mission in New York.
• From May 2016 to May 2017, he was an intern at the CCGN (Community Church of Great Neck).
• Since July 1, 2017, he has been a full-time evangelist of CCGN.
• In August 2018, he began to study for a doctorate in pastoral studies at Christian Witness Theological Seminary (加州基督工人神學院).

第四代基督徒，1999 年底在家裏成立福音派的家庭教會，1999 年底到 2012 年中帶職牧會。2012 年底，成為雲南省質監局珠寶玉石質量專業委員會委員、雲南省珠寶玉石文化促進會常務副會長。

• 2013 年因神感動放下生意，走上全時間服侍道路
• 2017 年 6 月於紐約信心聖經神學院道學碩士畢業
• 2013 年 10 月 – 2016 年 4 月在紐約中宣會播恩堂參與服侍
• 2016 年 5 月 – 2017 年 5 月在紐約中宣會長恩堂實習
• 2017 年 7 月 1 號至今為紐約中宣會長恩堂全職傳道人
• 2018 年 8 月開始在加州基督工人神學院進修教牧學博士課程
